In English, we spent a whole morning writing our own autumn poems whilst listening to music. We had great fun making our own verses and rhyming words. .I think we may have some future poets in the class! The children were able to use words like hibernation and nation that they learned in geography to use in their poem.
In Maths this week, we've been learning about number sequencing. The children worked in partners to solve the missing numbers.
In Irish we learned a poem called 'Duilleoga'. The children sang it beautifully. I'm very proud of them!
There was a couple of incidents on the yard recently, its important that we remind the children to play gently with each other and that everyone is respected and included.
Have a great weekend,
