A Visit From Wooly Farm
Yesterday was a special day for us in Senior Infants. We had our school tour!
We arrived at school to see some animal themed balloons. We even saw some of the adults dressed up!
We started our day with some animal themed art. We used paper bowls, tissue paper, googley eyes and glue. We are proud of how they turned out.
After yard, it was time to prepare to visit the animals. First, we visited the shed. Here, we got the opportunity to hold some rabbits and to pet some chicks and guinea pigs. It was very exciting!

Then, we went on to visit some other animals. We were introduced to a goat named Oreo and her kid named Benji. They were kind enough to let us pet and brush them. We also met a hen. We approached her quietly and respectfully as she was sleeping. Farmer Al chose four children to hold the hen. This made us laugh!
Having said goodbye to the hen, we went on to visit some animals at the Snuggle Station. We met some lambs and a pig. We learned that the lambs were only born ten days ago! They were very cute and very affectionate. Time with these animals warmed our hearts.
The teachers also had lots of fun holding and petting the animals.
The snuggles were good for the soul!
What a super school tour!
