Our Learning in Art
Earlier in the month we learned about an artist called Yayoi Kusama. She is from Japan. She likes dots and adores pumpkins!
Firstly we examined some of her work. We looked for dots in our environment. We found dots on our clothes, school bags and even some lunch boxes! We looked at the different ways that Kusama used dots in terms of size and shape. We then explored the different ways that we could make dots. Our final task was to make a paper pumpkin inspired shape and decorate it with dots. Take a look at our finished product.
Have a fantastic half term holiday everyone. Be Safe and see you back in school on 1st November.
