Welcome to a new week of learning!
Here are our learning topics for this week!
Maths: Number (Counting and the number 0)
English: Writing/Phonics/Reading
Geography/Learn Together: People at work/Responsibility
PE: Dance
Below you will find a suggested daily schedule. This is on a print friendly document and includes the worksheets you will need. Please note that this outline is only a suggestion. We are aware that there are lots of things happening at home so please do what you feel is manageable. For those of you who want some extra challenges, please take a look at our bonus activity page.
*We are learning about dance this week for PE. For this, you are asked to play music. You might like to take some time in advance to choose suitable tracks. The children in both Junior Infant classes often have a ‘boogie’ in the classroom so you could ask the child to suggest a track or you could choose one. Happy Dancing!
Daily Activities:
Reading: Try to read a book every day, or have someone read one to you.
Tricky Words: I, the, he, she, me, we, be, was, to, do, are, all
Maths: Counting a variety of items every day
